Challenge

A humble 376 million people play Brawl Stars, (almost as many as FIFA according to this). You could say community is a big deal for this game. But, they have an extremely vocal and reactive audience. How do you keep the trolls all on your side?

Make them feel seen

We convinced Brawl Stars to upgrade how they celebrate their fans from a modest ‘thank you’ blog post… to a full-blown community award show. On steroids.

18 minutes of madness

We packed The Brawlies with content creators, music videos, underwater skits, an orchestra, sock puppets, and more! All to give personal shout-outs to as many players as we could.

The live stream was followed by physical trophies for the category winners and in-game rewards for the whole community.

Results & reactions

With over 9 million views to date, the first-ever Brawl Stars live awards show was a success. Overall, the campaign got us 36.6 million impressions and 40 k comments, engaging core subscribers and generating lots of love for the game, the team, and the community.
